Last night Selinsgrove Area School District, in conjunction with multiple school districts in Pennsylvania and the nation, turned on their stadium lights as part of the Be the Light Campaign.

On Friday, April 17, the Selinsgrove School District will begin honoring the Class of 2020 and supporting the nurses, doctors, and first responders on the front line of COVID-19 by lighting up our high school stadium at 8:20 pm (2020 hours).

In accordance with Governor Tom Wolf's announcement earlier today that Pennsylvania schools will be closed to in‐person learning for the remainder of the school year, the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association, Inc. (PIAA) has cancelled all remaining Winter and Spring sports and championships.

The Selinsgrove Athletic Council in conjunction with local businesses is offering a Chili Drive Thru for anyone in need this Friday, April 10, from 4-6 pm.

Junior Nate Schon capped his 2019 season with a 2nd place finish at the PIAA Wrestling championships at the Giant Center in Hershey.

Last week, Pennsylvania Secretary of Health, Dr. Rachel Levine, outlined steps to prepare for community spread of the coronavirus known as COVID-19, as well as what Pennsylvanians can do now.

This weekend the Seals Varsity Girls Team and three individuals competed at the Eastern PA Regional Championships in Lancaster.
